Xi'An is the ancient Chinese capital where the Terracotta army was found and excavated. Xi'An, along with Henan Province, is the source of Chinese civilization and, thanks to the Silk Road, also one of the first multicultural cities with a large Muslim community. Xi'An also has one of the oldest mosques in the world dating back 1250 years.
Thanks to this Silk Road, the TCM has been able to spread throughout the Rest of Asia and the Middle East and has also slowly found its way to the rest of the world.
Xi'an is a dietary supplement used within TCM. It is made of it AbM Andosan Extract, PSK extract van de Elfenbankje (Coriolus Versicolor) and Lentinian Extract of the infamous and delicious Shiitake mushroom. In China and Japan, it has been proven for centuries that these mushrooms can be used in many ways.
The composition:
Andosan – Agaricus blazei Murill (AbM) is rich in active and complex proteoglucan and -glucans.
Furthermore, it is full of good nutrients such as: Polysaccharides: â-1, 6-D-glucan, Sterols, Ergosterol, Lipids, Anti-angiogenic, Sodium pyroglutamate (A-1) and A-2, fiber, antioxidants
Fairy Bench (Turkey Tail) – Polysaccharide Krestin® (PSK) this is an extract of the Coriolus Versicolor mushroom. This is another rockstar mushroom extract we've included in our TCM blend. PSK has been widely used in Asia for a long time and recently in western countries. In Japan, Krestin® is registered as a natural alternative drug to chemotherapy.
Shiitake mushroom extract Lentinan
Last, but not least, our strong TCM blend, is the Shiitake mushroom extract Lentinan. Shiitake mushroom is a common culinary mushroom used in Chinese and Japanese cuisine. In Japan, Lentinan, an extract of this mushroom, was used in many ways.
Andosan Extract: This is an extract of the Agaricus Blazei mushroom, it is edible and has a slightly sweet taste and a slight almond scent.
Lentinan Extract: This is an extract of the Shiitake mushroom and is mainly found in Asia.
Polysaccharide Krestin®: This mushroom is also called Turkey Tail or Elfenbankje.
